Miqdam T. Chaichan has graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Collage of Eng., University of Baghdad in 1982 and awarded the B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. In 1989, he awarded the M. Sc. in Power Generation Engineering from the Mechanical Eng. Department, University of Technology. He worked as assistant Lecturer in many Arabian Universities (the Higher Institute in Zewara and Sabha University in Libya from 1997 to 2001, and in Sohar University-Oman from 2007 to 2009). Since 2005 to 2015, he worked as a lecturer in the teaching staff in the Mechanical Eng. Department-University of Technology-Iraq. From 2015 till today, he is working in Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center as a researcher in Renewable energies. He awarded a scientific promotion to professor in 2019. He published more than 180 papers in journals and conferences. In 2014, on of Prof. Chaichan articles was selected as the best article for all universities in the Arab world from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, Publons selected him as one of 1% of the best reviewers in the word. he has been appointed as the Director of the Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center from March 2019 to February 2023.
