Israa Abdulameer Abduljabbar received her B.Sc. degree in 2003 and M.Sc. degree in 2006 in Computer Science both were from the Department of Computer Science, University of Technology-Baghdad, Iraq, and PhD. Degree in 2014 from School of Computer and Information in Hefei University of Technology- Hefei, China. She is currently a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. Her major areas of research Interest include Artificial Intelligence, Heuristic and Meta-heuristic Computing, Neural Networks, Natural language processing , Machine translation ,Information security, Bioinformatics applications, Image Processing, computer vision, face Recognition and pattern recognition Systems. Israa is an author (co-author) of more than 20 published papers. She is now the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Distributed Artificial Intelligence (IJDAI- IGI-Global)/USA. Moreover, She is a reviewer for several international journals, includes IGI Global, SAI Organization (IJACSA), Scirp.org (WJET) and others.
