Dr. Mohammed Muayad Taha is an Iraqi academic who currently serves as Director of the Studies and Planning Department at the University of Technology- Iraq. He obtained his BSc in Agriculture Sciences/Animal Production from the University of Anbar, Iraq, in 2001. He then went on to complete his MSc in Agriculture Sciences/Animal Production (Animal Reproduction) from the same university in 2003. In 2017, Dr. Mohammed was awarded his PhD in Philosophy/Biology (Animal Physiology) from the Sultan Idris Education University in Malaysia. His doctoral dissertation was titled "Factors Influencing the Productive Performance in Selected Goat Breeding Systems in Malaysia". Dr. Mohammed has over 19 years of experience teaching at the university level. He started his academic career as a Lecturer at the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, from 2006 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been a Lecturer at the Environment Research Center, University of Technology- Iraq. He has also held various administrative positions, including Director of Livestock Fields, Head of Departments, and Board Member. He is actively involved with numerous academic societies and associations. Dr. Mohammed is a member of the University Professors Association in Iraq, the Hong Kong Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Society, the International Al-Nahrain Society of Iraqi Scholars, and several others. His research interests are broad, covering topics in Animal Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Biology, and Environmental Science. Dr. Mohammed is a prolific researcher who has published over 36 papers in international journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, and others. He has also presented his work at many conferences and workshops over the years. Dr. Mohammed has received various awards and honors recognizing his scholarly contributions, including medals, shields, decorations, and a US patents. He has been an editor and scientific assessor for several journals. Overall, Dr. Mohammed Muayad Taha has had an accomplished academic career spanning over 19 years.
