Dr. Sagid M. Omaran earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil and Construction Engineering from Western Michigan University, complementing over a decade of teaching and research at the University of Technology – Iraq. His doctoral work (2016–2021) focused on Improving Leadership and Decision Making Skills of Construction Project Managers through the Development and Use of Simulation Model and Framework and enhancing construction management through simulation models and Building Information Modeling (BIM)‐based life cycle cost analyses. Dr. Omaran’s Ph.D. research has since informed multiple peer reviewed publications and conference presentations, positioning him as a leading expert in BIM integration, emergency requirement simulation, and construction process optimization
