Haider Jasim Essa Al Saaidy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, earned in 2019, in Urban Design and Urban Development from the University of Strathclyde, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture, United Kingdom. He also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in 2019 from the University of Strathclyde, Engineering Faculty, Department of Architecture, United Kingdom. His academic background includes a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering, awarded in 2001 by the University of Technology, Iraq, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the same university in 1998. His interests focus on improving urban form and urban life. In addition to urban morphology, he is also interested in sustainability, resilience, and adaptability, with spatial analysis playing a key role in enhancing social interaction and community development.
