Dr. Lina Ghanim Yaqub is a faculty member in the College of Architectural Engineering at the University of Technology and the Head of the Urban Design Engineering Department. Her general specialization is Architectural Engineering, with a specific focus on Urban Design. Her research interests include the study of city morphological changes and growth and how they’re affected by railways. She's also keen on railway architecture and the study of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which she uses in her practical research studies.
